SHIELD TABLE

The SHIELD Side Table is a sculptural exploration of symmetry, asymmetry and cultural resonance. Rooted in personal memories from a journey through Swaziland, this table draws inspiration from the distant geometry and symbolism of Zulu shield – emblems of protection and identity.

The design emphasizes openness, allowing negative space to express itself as powerfully as solid material. This spatial chorography is not merely visual, it is a subtle dialogue between strength and vulnerability.
